Dendroidal Sets and Weak n-Categories
Andor Lukacs
(UU)
Abstract: Dendroidal sets are a new tool invented by I. Moerdijk and I. Weiss, with the goal to define weak n-categories and understand them better. The purpose of this talk is to give a brief introduction to dendroidal sets and the corresponding dendroidal notion of weak n-categories, and to compare the outcome with the existing classical notions in low degrees: bicategories and tricategories.
