Noncommutative mirror symmetry for surfaces

Raf Bocklandt (UvA)

Abstract: In this talk I will give an introduction to mirror symmetry. I will focus on the case of surfaces and give examples of the classical commutative mirror construction. I will then explain how one can make the mirror construction very concrete and visual using noncommutative geometry.
