Equivariant singularity analysis of the 2:2 resonance

Abstract: This is a joint work with G. Pucacco. We investigate the orbit structure of 2 : 2 resonant reversible Hamiltonian systems invariant under spatial reflection symmetries.The analysis is performed combining three different mathematical tools: Perturbation Theory, Normal Forms Theory (in particular,"detuned" normal forms) and Singularity Theory. Among other results,we provide the thresholds for the bifurcations as asymptotic series involving the most relevant physical parameters.
