The Friday Fish activities
These activities belong to the Vidi project "Poisson Topology" of M. Crainic and are related to the GQT cluster.
The talks will be in Minnaert 204.
Target: PhD students and Postdocs working in the area of Geometry and Mathematical Physics and whoever else is interested.
Aim: to learn some basic results/methods of differential geometry, heading towards some more recent results related to Poisson Geometry.
Main foucuses: At least for this Fall, we plan to have several series of talks on:
------ Dish no. 1: Normal forms in Geometry
------ Dish no. 2: Lie algebroids and G-structures
------ Dish no. 3: Geometry of partial differential equations
Schedule for the activities: The plan is to have, each Friday, several talks.
As a general rule (i.e. unless the circumstances impose some changes), there will be a talk
at 11:00 (on normal forms), one at 13:30 (on Oids and G-structures), one at 15:00 (on the Geometry of Differential Equations- 2 times 45 min).
More details can be found in the
Menu day by day.
