The Zhangjiashan Calendar

Abstract. In 1984 a calendar was found in Zhangjiashan, Hubei Province, China. The calendar covers 17 years of the Han Dynasty (206 BC to 220 AD). This talk is about the calendar system during the Han Dynasty, possible ways to calculate such a calendar and determine how accurate the Zhangjiashan calendar was.
